3-Day Weekends are always Too Short

It’s been a quiet weekend after a hectic Thursday and Friday. Not much was done today except for resting, reading, and brewing a batch of ESB in anticipation of Haley and Reagan’s visit in late July.

Unfortunately, time continues to pass and tomorrow it’s back to work, a virtual Monday even. My next day off work is just a half day on Monday, June 23rd, when I’ll be heading up to Ellis Music in Vermont to pick up my bassoon after its annual maintenance.

I do hope to know within the next few days what my schedule for the July trip will be so that I can get that on the calendar and start planning it! Starting Wednesday, I’m going to begin nagging Stephanie to let me know her schedule. Worst case, I’ll never get an answer and will just plan the trip regardless, because I’m not going to let this summer go by without a good, long road trip 🙂
